Calculation Formula of Perforated Rate
Perforated Rate refers to the proportion between punching zone and the whole board, which is usually expressed by percentage. Give an example with the following specification.
Round hole, hole diameter 2MM, 60° staggered, center-to-center distance 4MM, size of appearance 1MX 2M.
In accordance with the above information and the below formula, we can conclude that the Perforated Rate of this punching mesh is 23%. In other words, the sum of the area of punch-out holes is 0.46m2 (1M X 2M X 23%）.
